In this tutorial we will see what is and how to implement Bump Mapping!
In particular we will see:
- the math behind normal mapping, based on the so-called tangents, bi-normals and normal
- how to compute and integrate these vector directions inside our meshes, and so in our vertex, index buffers.
In the end, we will see how to get all these data from our shaders and how to use them to obtain the Bump Mapping Effect on the surfaces of our 3D objects!
