Ground Engine | Tutorial 7 | Early Access


The source code of the 7th tutorial of the Game Engine Development Series (Ground Engine) is now available in early access!


In this tutorial we will finally make something visual! We will create the windows!


In particular we will see:

  • how to design and implement the Window class
  • how to create, show and destroy Multiple Windows through the usage of Win32 API.
  • how to exploit our CTemplateFactory in order to handle easily all the Windows created by the engine

 

With the introduction of windows, Ground Engine will continue its execution until:

  • there is at least one window open
  • the user doesn't call the quit() method

 

The Design Diagrams have been updated as usual.
